Vamp

Hva er vel mer naturlig enn å gå på Vamp konsert med diverse andre lokale musikere når man først er i Haugesund? 2. juledag passet veldig bra å få rørt bena litt, etter 3 dager med etegilde:) Bjørn Berge imponerte veldig med sin enslige gitar i et vanvittig tempo i tilegg til Vamp, Susanne Sundfør, Helge Toft, Grethe Svensen og Rune Vandaskog.

Grease kjedelig

...eller grise kjedelig. Jeg merket allerede i køen inn til Spektrum at jeg absolutt ikke var i målgruppen for denne forestillingen. Nå er ikke jeg så veldig høy, men halvparten av de i køen så jeg fint over hodet på. Men fjortisene med sine familier tror jeg storkoste seg. Nå hadde ikke jeg betalt noe for billetten, og når den billigste billetten koster rundt 500,-, fortår jeg godt at man blir ekstra entusiastisk inni salen, enn det jeg var. Jeg håpte virkelig å få rocket foten litt, men det tok aldri helt av. Og overraskende så ble ord som kuk, fitte, faen, helvete, mens og mus gjentatt sånn ca 20-30 ganger i løpet av de 2-3 timene showet foregikk på scenen. Jeg tror det var en del foreldre som svelget ett par ganger og så på sine barn ved siden av, i håp om at de ikke hørte hva som ble sagt.

IKEA land

IKEA fotostudio, IKEA hotel, IKEA treningssenter, IKEA varehus, IKEA aktivitetshus, IKEA restaurant.... alt finnes i Älmhult, Sverige. Å besøke en by inni småland og ingenmannsland, der 8 av 10 jobber for IKEA er både positivt, men også en utfordring. Uansett hvor du vandrer, så er det en eller annen kollega i nærheten. Og besøker du en ikke-IKEA butikk, ja så er det garantert at hun eller han som ekspederer , er gift med en IKEA ansatt.

Men jo... gøy var det!

... og det gjorde han gitt. Og det 100 meter fra min ytterdør. 4 kvartaler med kø av personbiler i alle rettninger, ett dusin av både politimenn, journalister og sorte lange blanke eskorte biler. For å ikke glemme de x antall dusinene med tilskuere som var på vei fra jobb i egne tanker, og måtte stoppe opp for å få med seg rød løper, blomster og fakler.... åsså kongen da.

business and pleasure

Besøkte Paris for andre gang, denne gang som business turist.

3 dager burde være nok til å se litt mer enn bare CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES. Dette ble nok ikke tilfelle da man satt i møter fra morgen til ettermiddag og i felles middag til langt på kveld. Business and pleasure....not. Men jeg kommer sterkere tilbake. Da som vanlig turist og visa kortet klart til å shoppe.

Det regnet på vei til Oslo Nye, da jeg skulle se forestillingen, Singin in the rain. Det hadde kanskje vært mer morro å blitt igjen på gata utenfor og sett på alle menneskene som løp for å finne ly, enn å sett forestillingen. Det føltes i alle fall slik de første 30 minuttene. Men det tok seg opp, og enkelte ganger var det faktisk et par morsomme sekvenser, og bra danse opplevelser på scenen. Så 2 timer føltes faktisk veldig OK. Selv om jeg neppe kommer til å bli noe stor fan. Høst regnet fortsatte på vei hjem, dog uten gul paraply.

AMBRA in Sandvika

Two of the most ground breaking contemporary dance companies of the Nordic Countries join forces! Carte Blanche of Bergen, and Iceland Dance Company of Reykjavik have commissioned the renowned Norwegian choreographer Ina Christel Johannessen to create a full evening dance performance for the 22 dancers of the two companies.

2 hours of intense music and dancing. I realy loved the performance that i saw on the stage. And of course, not forget all the handsome actors:)

100 minutes felt like 30 minutes... I hope to see more from Cart Blanche very soon!

Yes from Yelle

I love Yelle from France! This song and video is the best from Yelle. On the video, you can see a dancestyle called "Tecktonik". A "new" way of dancing. Little known in norway, but has been danced a great deal in some countries in 2-3 years now. Click on the image to see the video. Enjoy the music, and the amazing dancing! RØNBECK - Exit Heaven

I had the pleasure to hear RØNBECK live at ofw. New guy for me, which surprised me positive with his Indian-budda-bar similar music. He`s forthcoming album - "Exit Heaven" is out in september / October 2008.

Have heard 4 of the tracks, and the song, "The valley" is a good listning. Fits perfectly on the stereo, a saturday evening. Not everybody is able to create music that allows you to relax in your couch, and on the same time you feel that you are dancing.

Oslo fashion week 2008

This year's opening party for the fashion industry took place at "Folkets hus" in august 2008. This time, it was the summer collection of 2009 that was on the meny. The show was not exactly the best I have seen, with incredibly little focus on ... yes, clothing.
After just 5 minutes of catwalking, it was time for fiddle music and other music performances. And of course not forget the important "minglingen" during the break. But we should not complain when you go home with a little happy-bag with stuff from Maxfactor, Redken and various other styling products. I found one thing I could use, a test of HUGO BOSS XY:)

Øya 2008

4 days with music, beer and social fun.
When they play Øya-music on the radio, I turn over to another radio channel. But when the music is played live on Øya, I jump around and drink beer. To hear the music live is always a lot better. And on the VIP you have easy access to drinks, and overview of two of the scenes. Perfect! For an electro freak like me, it was quite clear 3 highlights: Girl Talk, Cut Copy, and diplo. All recommended!
